Akinz was founded 3 years ago by Suzanne Akin, making shirts out of a 1-bedroom apartment and selling them in a booth at Houston wakeboarding events.
Akinz is a clothing line for an active lifestyle, focusing on wakeboarding, wakeskating, snowboarding, and skateboarding. Today Akinz and Suzanne have moved to Steamboat Springs, CO after realizing that there were just not enough vacation days in the year to travel away from steamy Houston and to the mountains.
Our motto, "Find your wings" is about finding that one thing that moves you, the one thing that makes you push your limits and reach for the sky. Because, after all, life is too short to settle for the ordinary.
