Kim Kirch

Kim Kirch is the newest member to our Akinz team and is also the first team member to compete in both a winter (snowboarding) and summer (wakeboarding) sport. She’s a super rad chick who loves to squeeze the most out of life, no matter what she’s doing. She most recently won wakeboarding worlds last year and we’re stoked to wait for what else we’ll see from “Lil” Kim Kirch

We definitely noticed her style in the sponsor me edit she sent us (above) which she described as “the cutest little gangster you’ll ever see.” We love it. In her own words about why she wanted to join the Akinz team, she said ” I have this hippy, gangster, bright style and Akinz gear will definitely fit my steez. Not only that but Akinz already has a rad team so it’s a pretty easy decision. ” We thought that sounded like a pretty solid reason, so we’re stoked to welcome her to the family!

What is it about snowboarding/wakeboarding that gets you excited?

I just like shredding. I’m quite a bit of a thrill junkie and have a major ADD problem mixed with the amount of sugar I eat and drink…. I basically have to be doing something at all times!

Wake – switch toe 3s and wrapped toe back 3s
Snow – nollie back ones off rails, corked nose tuck knee front 3s

Wake – trying to do every thing I can do goofy switch

What do you have lined up for summer?

I am coaching a couple cable clinics at Fort Worth Texas and Kansas City. I will also be taking trips to Orlando FL, Idaho, Minneapolis, and Mexico!!! So I’m going to be all over the place.
