Vote for us to win a grant and you can win Akinz gear!
We found out that we have until June 8th to finish submitting our votes, so that gives us 7 more days to make this happen! Right now we need 110 votes to be in the top 5. Getting in the top 5 automatically earns a $200 prize and gives us a 1 in 5 chance of winning the $15K grand prize. We’d like to get 200 more votes just to be safe and that’s a lot of votes to get in 7 days.
So… we’re offering a little incentive for you to get off your internet tushie and get to voting! 
We will be choosing multiple winners from those who voted (and submitted a screenshot proving they voted). There are plenty of opportunities to win! Here are the items we will be giving away:
– 5 Akinz hand printed t-shirts
– 5 pairs of Shenanakinz sunglasses
– 2 handmade beanies
That’s 12 chances to win! Plus, we will send out a discount code for 35% off an order online to everyone who enters (votes for us and submits a screenshot by e-mail) to use in the 2 weeks following the closing of the contest.
Also, if we actually win the grant, we will send a surprise to each and every person who voted for us as well as throwing a party for anyone that wants to come out to our workshop in Fort Collins, CO.
Here’s how to vote:
First go to the Postnet Boost Your Biz contest app and like their FB page. Then go to our Akinz company entry and click the Vote button. (If that link doesn’t take you straight there, our entry is on page 36.) That’s it! Then, to submit your entry for our contest, take a screenshot of the page that shows your entry has been submitted. (Like below). Send the screenshot to info@akinz.com with “I Voted!” in the e-mail subject line.
After the closing of voting, we’ll choose the winners at random and notify you via e-mail with the names of the winners and the discount code as well as posting the winners here. If we win the grant, we will contact everyone asking who entered asking for your mailing addresses to send out your prize pack!
